Plot-In a world full of sin, there is only way to save what is true, a flood. This apocalyptic flood lasts 40-days and nights, cleansing the earth from those who are unworthy. Noah, played by Russell Crowe, is chosen by God to save those who deserve to be saved. Noah is a holy man; helping those in need and resisting his instincts. Though Noah urges his family to follow the way of God, some people just can’t resist their urges.
“Noah” is a bizarre move. While this movie had a decent cast, including the Harry Potter star Emma Watson, and the acting was average, the aspect that truly destined this movie for disaster was its plot. What I expected to see was a movie about the prophet Noah, the flood, and his arch. What I ended up seeing was a movie that was set in the same time era as Noah, had an arch, but was definitely not what I expected. It just didn’t make any sense! There were cannibals, an old grandfather, and one really insane society. Cain and Able somehow managed to find their way into the movie, and a bunch of rock angels. All-in-all, the movie was bad… really bad. When the flood was starting, I thought that maybe it would get better. When Noah began to try killing babies, I gave up any hope I had. I just couldn’t wait for it to be over.
